Socotra – an island unlike anything you know. 8 days of mountains, canyons, white beaches, lagoons and 3 days of trekking in the Hagher Mountains.
About the adventure
A journey back to the beginning of time, where nature still writes its own story. Some places cannot be explained. They have to be lived. Socotra is one of them.
An isolated island shaped by wind, light and ocean, where Dragon Blood trees stand like guardians of an untouched world. A land where silence echoes, colours seem invented and time flows differently.
Our Door2Outdoor adventure takes you for 8 days through the wildest and most fascinating corners of the island – mountains, canyons, white beaches, lagoons, traditional villages and three days of trekking in the Hagher Mountains. Everything is fully organised: local team, camping, meals, 4×4 transport, camels for luggage and a mountain guide from Romania.
Moderate level – hikes with 300–700 m of elevation gain, temperatures of 20–30°C. 7 nights camping + 1 night in Abu Dhabi (hotel). Full board on the island. 6–12 participants.
